Super Austenitic 904L Plug Valve material code also can be UNS N08904, DIN 1.4539. Super Austenitic 904L Plug Valve is a high alloy austenitic stainless steel plug valve with low carbon content and excellent corrosion resistance in dilute sulfuric acid. It is designed for harsh corrosion conditions. Super Austenitic 904L Plug Valve has high chromium content and sufficient nickel content. The addition of copper makes it have strong acid resistance, especially high resistance to chloride gap corrosion and stress corrosion cracking, and is not easy to appear corrosion spots and cracks. The pitting resistance is slightly better than other steel, with good machinability and weldability, and can be used in pressure vessels.
PTFE sleeved plug valve according to ANSI is applicable to the cutting and connection of pipelines medium that are used in various industries as petroleum, chemical industry, pharmacy, chemical fertilizer, power industry etc under nominal pressure of Class 150 – 900 LB, and working temperature of -29~180℃.
