Super Austenitic UB6 Plug Valve-Material Features

The Super Austenitic UB6, AISI 904L Plug Valve, identified by material codes UNS N08904 and DIN 1.4539, is a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel valve with low carbon content, offering excellent corrosion resistance, especially in dilute sulfuric acid. It features high chromium and nickel content, with added copper for superior resistance to chloride gap corrosion and stress corrosion cracking, reducing the likelihood of corrosion spots and cracks. This valve exhibits slightly better pitting resistance than other steels and possesses good machinability and weldability, making it suitable for use in pressure vessels.

The PTFE-sleeved plug valve, compliant with ANSI standards, is designed for the cutting and connection of pipeline media across various industries, including petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, fertilizer, and power generation. It operates effectively under a nominal pressure range of Class 150-900 LB and a working temperature range of -29°C to 180°C. This valve's PTFE sleeve enhances its resistance to corrosion and wear, making it suitable for demanding applications.

PTFE Sleeved Plug Valve-Feature

The product features a reasonable structure, reliable sealing, excellent performance, and an attractive appearance. 
Sealing is achieved through the sleeve's sealing face, complemented by a unique 360-degree metal edge that protects and secures the sleeve. 
The valve design eliminates cavities to prevent medium accumulation, while the metal edge provides self-cleaning during plug rotation, making it suitable for viscous and messy operations. Its bi-directional flow facilitates convenient installation and use, ensuring a bubble-tight seal independent of line pressure. 
Additionally, a static electricity eliminator maintains contact with the plug to dissipate static electricity from liquid media.
