Steam Jacketed Globe Valve
Our steam jacketed valve is mainly used in petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, pharmaceutical and other systems to transport high viscosity medium that will solidify at normal temperature. It is the insulation jacket of BJ45W straight jacketed insulation globe valve, which is welded between the two flanges of the valve. The side and bottom of the valve are provided with two connection ports of the thermal insulation jacket. The direct current jacketed globe valve is especially suitable for the pipeline of chemical industry and chemical fertilizer industry. Steam Jacketed Globe Valve-Structure Feature
Steam jacketed globe valve is a kind of forced sealing valve, so when the valve is closed, pressure must be applied to the valve disc to force the sealing surface not to leak. When the medium enters valve 6 from the lower part of the valve disc, the resistance to be overcome by the operating force is the friction force between the valve stem and the packing and the thrust generated by the pressure of the medium. The force to close the valve is greater than the force to open the valve, so the diameter of the valve stem should be larger, otherwise the valve rod bending fault will occur. In recent years, since the appearance of self sealing valve, the medium flow direction of the globe valve changes from the top of the valve disc into the valve chamber. Under the action of medium pressure, the force to close the valve is small, but the force to open the valve is large, so the diameter of the valve stem can be reduced accordingly. At the same time, under the action of medium, this type of valve is also more tight.
