The Y-type strainer is used in water, oil, and gas pipelines, as well as various types of equipment. Its primary function is to remove impurities from the medium in the pipe, protecting components such as pressure reducing valves, pressure relief valves, constant water level valves, and water pumps to ensure normal operation. It should be installed at the inlet of the pipeline.

Typically, the strainer screens vary depending on the medium:

For water, the strainer screen is 10-30 mesh/cm².
For air, the strainer screen is 40-100 mesh/cm².
For oil, the strainer screen is 60-200 mesh/cm².

The Y-type strainer should be installed at the front end of each corresponding valve in the water inlet pipeline. As the medium flows through the pipeline and enters the filter, it passes through the filter screen, allowing only the cleaned medium to enter the connected valve. The impurities are trapped in the filter barrel, preventing mechanical debris from causing damage to the sealing rings of various valves.

1. The Y-type strainer features a stainless steel double-layer mesh structure, ensuring durability and robustness. This advanced design offers low flow resistance and convenient sewage discharge.

2. Mesh Size Customization: The mesh size of the filter screen can be adjusted according to the user's needs. Typically:
For water supply networks, the mesh size ranges from 18-30 mesh.
For ventilation networks, the mesh size ranges from 40-100 mesh.
For oil networks, the mesh size ranges from 100-480 mesh.

3. Blow Down Plug: A blow down plug is available on the drain port, allowing for clean-out without removing the screen and without interrupting the process flow, provided upon request.

4. Material and Construction: Standard screens are made from 304 stainless steel (SS) perforated sheets.

5. Drain/Blow-off Connection: The unit comes with a standard plug for the drain/blow-off connection.
