The Y-type filter finds its application in water, oil, and gas pipelines, as well as various equipment. Its primary function is to remove impurities from the medium within the pipe, safeguarding components like pressure reducing valves, pressure relief valves, constant water level valves, and water pumps, thereby ensuring smooth operations. It's advisable to install the filter at the inlet. Typically, water filters feature a screen of 10-30 mesh/cm2, air filters have a screen of 40-100 mesh/cm2, and oil filters have a screen of 60-200 mesh/cm2.

Each Y-type strainer is positioned at the forefront of matching valves along the water inlet pipeline. As the medium flows through the pipeline, it first encounters the filter, allowing only clean medium to pass through the connected valve while trapping impurities within the filter barrel. This prevents mechanical debris from obstructing the sealing ring of various valves, thus maintaining their functionality.

Cast Alloy Steel Y Strainer-Feature

1. The Y-type strainer screen features a stainless steel double-layered net structure, ensuring robustness and durability. Its design incorporates advanced features, including minimal flow resistance and easy sewage discharge.

2. The mesh size of the filter screen can be customized based on user requirements. Typically, for water supply networks, mesh sizes range from 18-30, for ventilation networks, it's 40-100, and for oil applications, it's 100-480.

3. Upon request, a blow-down plug on the drain port facilitates easy clean-out without removing the screen or interrupting the process flow.

4. Additionally, the strainer comes standard with 304 stainless steel perforated screens, and the drain/blow-off connection is furnished with a plug for added convenience.
