Full Port Ball Valve
A Full Port Ball Valve, or full bore ball valve, maintains a straight flow path with no reduction in flow, as the internal diameter matches the inlet and outlet diameters. It is a quarter-turn valve using a pivoting ball with a drilled hole to control flow: when aligned with the flow, it allows passage; when turned 90 degrees, it stops the flow completely.
