Detail Information

Y Type Forged Check Valve

Body material: ASTM A105N
Nominal diameter: 3/4 Inch (DN20)
Nominal class: Class 800 LB (PN150)
End connection: NPT
Metal seat: 13cr
Design: API 602
Face to face: MFR, API 602
Test and inspection: API 598
Mode of operation: /

The forged steel check valve, also referred to as a one-way valve, operates automatically based on the medium's flow. It opens and closes the valve disc to prevent reverse flow, ensuring that fluid moves in only one direction. The valve features a body guide that maintains proper alignment between the seat and the disc. When closed, the pressure from the flowing fluid lifts the disc off the seat, allowing the fluid to pass through the valve.

Forged Steel Lift Check Valve-Features

  • Vertical Disc Movement: The valve disc moves vertically and is connected to the upper chamber through a connecting pipe. This design minimizes impact and vibration, allowing the disc to achieve its full stroke effectively.
  • Y-Shaped Body: The Y-shaped valve body reduces flow resistance. It features a guide rib with a hard alloy deposit and a stainless steel guide sleeve, ensuring smooth and flexible operation of the valve cover.
  • Pressure Self-Tightening Seal: The valve is equipped with a pressure self-tightening sealing mechanism, providing reliable and consistent sealing.
  • Durable Sealing Surfaces: Both the valve disc and seat are welded with cobalt matrix alloy on their sealing surfaces. This material offers high hardness, excellent corrosion resistance, scratch resistance, and overall durability.
