BS 1868 Swing Check Valve

The BS1868 swing check valve is designed to prevent damaging backflows, protecting equipment such as pumps and compressors. This non-return valve allows fluid to flow in only one direction while blocking reverse flows. Its simple design features a metallic disc hinged at the top. When fluid flows through the valve, the disc opens. In the event of a reverse flow, the disc closes due to changes in motion and gravity, effectively preventing backflows.
